Krishna Kirana Store

Krishna Kirana Store is a small place located in Ward No 2 of the village Bara Bhaglaghat. We are right by the Post Office in Parsad, within the Tehsil of Girwa. Our shop is also quite close to the Government Boys Higher School, so we see a lot of students passing by in their uniforms every day. It’s a quiet village life for the most part, and the store is where a lot of the local news gets shared. We carry the basic things that people need for their homes, like flour, sugar, and small household items. The building is simple, with a small porch where people sometimes stand to get out of the sun. It’s not a supermarket by any means, just a few wooden shelves and some jars on the counter. We know almost everyone who walks through the door because we’ve lived here our whole lives. Mornings are usually the busiest when people are getting their supplies for the day's meals. During the afternoon, it gets very still, and we might just sit and wait for the school bell to ring. We don't have any flashy signs or big advertisements. We just keep the doors open and make sure we have what the neighbors are looking for. It is a slow way of doing things, but it fits the village and we wouldn't really know how to do it any other way. We just keep track of the stock and chat with whoever stops by.
