Jaldevi Farmer Producer Company Limited is located over in Railmagra. We are set up at Leharu Lal Jat's place, which most people in the area can find pretty easily. It is basically a group of us who farm around here and decided to put our resources together. Eeli Ram Jat is also involved in making things work. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a room where we can sit down and talk about the seeds, the rain, and what prices we might get this year. Being in Railmagra, we see the same faces every day. It’s a small operation, really. Most days are spent out in the fields, but someone is usually around to handle the admin side of the company. We wanted to make sure that the smaller farmers had a voice when it came time to sell. It can be tough doing it all by yourself. So, Jaldevi is our way of sticking together. It’s not a complicated setup. We just keep our records and try to help each other out. If you’re looking for us, just head toward the village area near the Jat households. We are just local people trying to make a living and keep the farming tradition going in this part of the country. It works for us and we just take it one day at a time without making things too complex.
