We are out at the Rajpura Dariba Mines, specifically in the A-98/1 section. The area is Rajpura Dariba Mines in Rajasthan, pincode 313211. It’s a rugged place to work. The mine is the center of everything here. Our office is a small, functional building right on the site. It’s always a bit dusty, and the sound of machinery is never far away. We’ve been working here for quite a while now. We don't have any of the comforts you’d find in a city office. There’s no fancy coffee machine or cushioned chairs. We have sturdy tables and simple benches. We spend our time managing the logistics of the mine. It’s a lot of checking lists and making sure the transport is on time. The sun can be quite brutal, so we stay indoors during the hottest parts of the day when possible. We don't do any marketing or try to attract attention. Our work is straightforward and necessary. Most of us have lived in this region our whole lives. We understand the land and the work we do. It’s a tough environment, but we don’t mind it. We just focus on the daily output and keep things moving. There isn’t much more to it than that. We carry our lunch boxes and find a quiet spot to eat near the entrance every afternoon.
