Bherunath Crane

Our base is at Jk Circle, right in the Kankroli area. We are positioned directly opposite the Government Hospital, which is a landmark everyone knows around here. We have the cranes parked in the open space when they are not out on a job. It is a dirty job with a lot of oil and heavy metal involved. The cranes need a lot of maintenance, so you will often see us checking the hydraulics or greasing the chains. We don't have a fancy office building, just a small cabin where we keep the keys and the logs. Kankroli can be a busy place with a lot of construction and transport moving through Jk Circle. We are available when someone needs heavy lifting or if there is an accident that needs clearing. The sun is usually hot, and there isn't much shade except under the machines themselves. We have a small team of drivers and helpers who know these machines inside out. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just lift heavy things from one place to another. Sometimes we get calls in the middle of the night and we have to head out. It’s a tough life but it keeps us busy. We mostly just talk over the phone and coordinate where the next crane needs to go. Sometimes the hospital traffic makes it hard to move the big rigs out, but we manage somehow.
