R K Agro is located at No. 2 I. T. I. Road in Rajpura. It’s a pretty straightforward spot to get to. We deal with agro products, mostly the stuff that comes straight from the local fields. The building is right there on the main road, so we see a lot of traffic passing by. We don’t have a big fancy sign or anything. Most people just know the building. We spend the day weighing things, checking the quality, and talking to the drivers. Rajpura is a good place for this kind of work because it’s a bit of a hub for the farmers around here. Inside, it’s mostly storage and a small space for us to sit and do the billing. It’s not always the cleanest place because of the dust from the grain, but that is part of the job. We don’t spend money on advertising. We just rely on the people we’ve known for years to keep coming back. Sometimes it gets quiet in the off-season, and we just do maintenance on the scales and the bins. When the harvest starts, it’s a different story. Everything happens at once then. We just try to keep up with the flow and make sure everyone gets their receipts. It’s a basic business, run by people who live right here and know the rhythm of the seasons and the local market.
