Modern Emporium

We've been here at Modern Emporium on Durga Mandir Road for a while now. It's right in the middle of the Cycle Market in Rajpura, which usually stays pretty busy with people coming and going. If you're coming from Patiala Road, we're not hard to find. The shop isn't fancy or anything, just a regular place where we get our work done every day. Some days the dust from the road gets everywhere, but that's just how it is around the market. We open up in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. Most of the people around here know us by now since we've sat in this spot for years. You probably see the Durga Mandir close by when you walk over. The traffic can be a bit of a headache during the afternoon rush, especially with all the cycles and rickshaws moving through the lanes. It gets loud sometimes, but we like the energy of the market. We just focus on what’s in front of us and keep the shelves organized as much as possible. Sometimes we sit outside on the stools when it’s quiet. Patiala district is a good place to be based, honestly. It feels like home to us. There isn’t a whole lot more to say about it. We’re just a local business trying to keep things moving along.
