Kool King Industries

If you’re driving down Kalka Road and you see the flyover, we’re right near there, just opposite the Dashmesh Dharam Kanda. It’s a bit of a landmark for people trying to find us. Kool King Industries has been operating out of this spot for a while. The traffic noise from the flyover is something you just get used to after a week or two. We work on all sorts of industrial cooling stuff. It’s heavy work and the shop floor is usually cluttered with parts and half-finished units. We don’t really have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see one of us with a wrench or a clipboard. We try to keep things organized but when it’s busy, that goes out the window. The office part is just a couple of desks shoved in the corner where we keep the invoices. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and leaks a bit near the back door, so we have to move the stock. It’s just one of those things you deal with. People come to us because they know where we are. We don’t do any of that corporate stuff where everyone has a title. We just do what needs doing. Most of the guys have been here for years and they know the machines inside out. We close up around six, unless there's a big delivery coming in late which happens more often than not.
