Vaishno Apiery & Farms

We are over on Gurudwara Road, at number 2485. Most days it’s just us and the bees. We started this place because we had the land and figured we might as well do something with it. The hives take up a lot of our time, especially when the weather starts changing and we have to make sure everything is okay with the queens. It’s not fancy work. You get stung sometimes, that’s just part of it. We spend a lot of time outside in the dirt and the sun. On the farm side of things, there’s always a fence that needs fixing or something that needs watering. It’s a bit messy around here, honestly. We have stacks of empty crates near the back and the shed usually smells like wax and old wood. People stop by sometimes asking questions about the honey or the crops, and we just tell them what we know. There isn't much of a front office, mostly just the workspace where we get things sorted. We’ve been at this address for a while now, and the neighbors know us. The road gets a bit busy during the morning, but it settles down. We keep busy with the seasons. When it rains, we catch up on the indoor chores that we ignored all summer. It’s a lot of manual labor, but it keeps us moving. That’s pretty much the whole story of what happens here.
