We are located right on Kalka Road, which is always full of cars and trucks heading out of town. The shop has been here for years, and most people around here recognize the building even if they haven't been inside. It is a bit loud because of all the machinery and the traffic from the main road, but you get used to it after a few days. We spend most of our time at the workbenches or running the lathes. It is a lot of metal and grease, and the floor is never really as clean as we would like it to be. We are just a group of people who enjoy working with our hands. We don't have any big corporate rules or long meetings. Usually, we just talk over what needs to be done while we're standing around in the morning. Kalka Road is a good spot for us because it is easy for people to find, though parking can be a bit of a gamble sometimes. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones, and we take care of them like they are part of the family. The days can be long, especially in the summer when the metal gets hot, but we keep at it. It’s honest work and it feels good to finish a job properly. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around; we just want to do our bit and keep things moving.
