Industrial Automation

We are set up on Chandigarh Road, not too far from the SBI Bank. It’s a convenient location because everyone knows where the bank is, so we don't have to give long directions. Industrial Automation is a name that sounds big, but really it’s just a small team of us working in a workshop-style space. There’s always the smell of grease and metal in the air. We have a lot of parts and old components sitting around on shelves. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we know where everything is. Most days start with a quick check of the machines and a bit of coffee. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door just goes to see who it is. The traffic on Chandigarh Road can be a nightmare during rush hour, so we try to get in early. We’ve been at this for a good number of years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The building is sturdy, though the roof leaks a tiny bit during the heavy monsoon rains. We just put a bucket under it and keep working. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want to do the work and make sure it’s done right. That’s just the way we’ve always done it.
