Batra Mechanical Works

Batra Mechanical Works is situated at 2882, which is quite near the Panjiri Plant in Rajpura Town. Most people in town know the plant, so it makes finding our workshop a bit easier. We do mechanical work, which basically means we spend our time fixing machines and handling metal parts. The workshop isn't very big, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into 2882. Rajpura Town is a good place to be, it’s got a decent pace to it without being as crazy as the bigger cities. We’ve got a small crew here and everyone knows their job. We don't really have any fancy titles or a big management structure. If something breaks, we look at it and try to get it back in working order. The area around the Panjiri Plant is usually pretty active, so there is always some noise and movement around us. We try to keep our head down and just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the work is straightforward and other times it takes us all day to figure out what’s wrong with a piece of equipment. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like we know everything. We just use the tools we have and the experience we’ve picked up over the years. It’s a practical business and we are just glad to be part of the local community here in Rajpura.
