Amil is located right along the National Highway in Village Sarai Banjar. Being on the highway means there is always a lot of traffic passing by. The noise of the trucks is something you just get used to after a week or two. We spend our days watching the cars go by while we handle our work. The village itself is small, but since we are on the main road, we see all kinds of people. Our space is functional. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s just a place where the work happens. The dust from the highway is a constant battle, so we are always wiping down the tables and the front counter. It gets very bright in the morning because the front faces the sun. We usually have a radio playing in the background to drown out the engine noises from outside. Most days are the same. We arrive, check what needs doing, and get to it. Sarai Banjar is a decent place to be based. There are a few dhabas nearby if we get hungry for lunch. It’s a practical location for us. We don't have a big corporate office feel here. It’s more like a workshop or a local hub where everyone knows each other. We’ve been at this spot for a while and don't plan on moving anytime soon. It suits us just fine. The evening sunset over the highway is actually quite nice to see.
