Patidar Steels

Our place, Patidar Steels, is located in Patel Nagar, right across from Bhavna Farm on Rajpipla Road. It’s more of an open yard and storage area than a traditional shop. We have stacks of steel pipes and rods everywhere. Being near the farm means it’s a bit quieter than being in the middle of town, but the trucks still make a lot of noise when they arrive to pick up or drop off loads. The ground is mostly gravel and dirt, so it gets a bit muddy when it rains, and we have to be careful with the forklifts. We have a small shed where we keep the tools and the main desk. It’s a simple setup. We spend the day loading and unloading materials. We know a lot of the local builders who come by for their supplies. The sun can be pretty harsh out here on Rajpipla Road since there isn’t much shade in the yard. We usually have a small radio playing in the background while we work to keep things lively. It’s just a few of us running the place. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on keeping the inventory straight and making sure the right piles go onto the right trucks. People around Patel Nagar know us as the place to get steel. We try to keep things organized, though with the amount of stock we move, it’s a constant battle. We stay until the last truck leaves.
