Mansukhlal Nandlal Kirana Store

We are located in Talalagir, right near the Gundran Road. The store has been in the family, and we just go by the name Mansukhlal Nandlal Kirana Store. It is a local place where we keep all the basic food items and household stuff. The Gundran Road can get pretty busy with tractors and motorcycles, especially during the harvest season. We keep the large bags of grains near the front so they are easier to load for people. The smell of spices is always hanging in the air inside the shop. It is a smell I have grown very used to over the years. My stool behind the counter is a bit wobbly, but it has been there for years and I do not feel like changing it now. We do not have any fancy displays or bright lights. It is just the usual shelves filled with soaps, oils, and pulses. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit in the shade of the doorway until it comes back on. Dealing with customers in Talalagir is mostly about knowing who likes which brand of tea or who needs credit until the end of the month. It is a small-town way of doing things, but it is what we know. We open up early and close when the sun goes down and the street gets quiet. It is just steady work, keeping the community fed and supplied.
