Global Baroda Hospital

We are set up at 55 Gujarat Housing Board. This part of the neighborhood is pretty quiet compared to the main roads. Global Baroda Hospital here is more of a local fixture for the people living in the housing board area. The building is older and has that solid look to it. We don’t have a big fancy lobby. You just walk in and there’s the main desk. We handle a lot of the regular health checkups and emergencies that happen nearby. Since we are in a housing board area, we see a lot of the same faces. It feels more like a community spot than a big cold institution. We have some basic rooms for patients and a small area for tests. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we prioritize keeping the medical equipment in good shape. There’s no big cafeteria, just a small place nearby where people grab tea. We keep our records in big binders and on the computer. It’s a lot of work to keep everything organized. The staff here is mostly local folks who have been working in health for a long time. We don’t go in for big advertisements or anything like that. We just open the doors every morning and see who needs help. It’s a straightforward way to run a hospital, and it works for us and the people here. Every evening we check the supplies for the next day.
