Dr. Girish Anand Clinic

Palace Road is where we are located. It’s a well-known road, so it isn’t too hard to find the clinic. We have been in this spot for a good while. The building isn't the newest one on the block, but it holds up well enough. Inside, we have the basic things you’d expect. There’s a waiting area with a few chairs that have been here since we opened. They are comfortable enough if you don't mind the old style. Dr. Girish Anand is usually busy in the consultation room. We have a small clock on the wall that ticks quite loudly when the room is empty. It’s a bit of a comfort, honestly. Outside, you can hear the cars on Palace Road. Sometimes it’s a bit of a scramble to find parking nearby, but people manage. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a chart or two. We get a mix of regulars and people who are just stopping in for the first time. The floor is polished stone and it stays cool under your feet. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people knowing we are here. Most days are steady. We open up in the morning, sweep the front step, and wait for the first person to knock. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. The tea man comes by at four every afternoon and that is usually the highlight of our workday.
