It’s a hilly area, so the work is often quite difficult compared to the flat lands. You have to worry about the slope of the ground and making sure everything is reinforced properly so it doesn’t wash away when the heavy rains come. We spend a lot of time outdoors, and the office is mostly just a place to escape the sun for a bit and handle the receipts. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of employees. It’s just a dedicated group of locals who know how to mix concrete and lay bricks. We don't go for any of that professional marketing talk. We just do the work as best as we can and hope it stands the test of time. There’s always something to fix or something new to build in Nagrota, so we stay pretty busy. We just take things one day at a time, making sure the materials are delivered and the workers are doing what they need to do. It’s a lot of sweat and effort, but it pays the bills.
