We run Jk Link News (Opc) Private Limited out of Rajouri. If you know the area near the Darhali Bridge, you’ve probably walked right past us. We are right across from the MIE Senior Secondary School. Being near a school means there is always a lot of noise and energy around, especially when the kids are coming or going in the afternoons. Zahoor Din Kheora is the one who keeps things moving around here. Running a news business in a place like Rajouri is interesting because there is always something happening locally. We don't have a massive TV studio with lights. It’s more about being on the ground and talking to people. Our office is a simple one where we sit and write or edit what we find during the day. It gets a bit hectic when a big story breaks. We use everyday language because that’s how people talk here. We aren't trying to be like those big city news channels with the flashing lights and suits. We just want to tell people what is going on near the bridge and the school and the rest of the town. The bridge is a good landmark for us. Sometimes it’s hard to find a parking spot nearby during school hours, but we deal with it. We’ve been here for a while and most people in the neighborhood stop by to say hello now and then. It’s a decent life and the work matters to us.
