Precision Engineering Works

We are located at No. 2 in the Industrial Estate. It’s an older area of town, and our workshop has that worn-in feel that only comes from many years of constant machining and heavy metalwork. There’s always a bit of oil or grease on the floor and the steady sound of lathes running in the background. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees and fancy titles; we’re just a small group of guys who really know how to work with machines. Every morning we open up the big metal shutters and get the machines warmed up for the day's tasks. It can get pretty hot and stuffy inside during the afternoon, but we’ve got some big industrial fans that help move the air around a bit. Most of the people who come to us have been doing business here for a very long time. They know we don’t have a fancy front office or a receptionist to bring them water. They just come right to the back where the work is actually happening and talk to us directly. We take on all sorts of engineering jobs, some being quite big and others being very small repairs. We don't have a slick website or any kind of marketing department. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here at No. 2 for years and people know we do honest work. Sometimes things don’t go perfectly, and we have to stay late to fix a machine.
