If you ever find yourself at the Lodhika GIDC in Metoda, you’ll see our shop at 2240 and 2241. It’s a typical engineering spot—lots of metal, the sound of grinders, and the smell of cutting oil. Yadav Engg. Works has been a part of this Rajkot industrial landscape for a while. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just take the drawings or the broken parts people bring in and we fix them or make new ones. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by noon. We use old lathes and some newer machines too, whatever gets the job done. It gets hot in the summer, really hot, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. There’s always someone coming in with a part that needs urgent attention. We don’t have a marketing team or a front desk person. Usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently operating a machine. We handle a lot of different jobs, from small bolts to bigger frames. It’s honest work that leaves your hands stained with grease at the end of the day. We like the grit of Metoda. It’s a place where things actually get built. We don’t talk much about visions or goals; we just focus on the piece of steel that’s right in front of us until it’s finished.
