We are located right on Shitlamata Temple Road, just a short walk from Sayog Cotton. Most mornings start with the sound of the temple bells and the smell of incense drifting over to our shop. We have been working with laminates for quite some time now, and the place is usually filled with the scent of glue and cut wood. The sheets are stacked high against the back walls, and we spend a lot of time moving them around so people can see the different patterns. It gets pretty busy around here when the trucks arrive to unload new stock. The sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside, but we keep the fans going. Our neighbor over at Sayog Cotton is always busy too, so there is a lot of back and forth on this street. We mostly deal with local contractors and people from the neighborhood who are fixing up their houses. It is a messy job sometimes with all the sawdust, but we like being part of the local market. The floor is usually covered in scraps by the end of the day, and we have to sweep it all out before we can lock up and head home. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that, just a desk and some chairs where we sit down with customers to look at the catalogs and figure out how many sheets they need for their projects.
