Chandan Agrico

Our place is over in Ajmera Nagar, which is part of the Veraval Shapar industrial area. If you have ever been down S.I.D.C Road, you know it's a lot of factories and heavy trucks moving in and out all day. We are located at Survey No. 171-1, specifically Plot No. 17-B. It is right at the end of the road, opposite Shanti Dham. You can usually tell you are close when you see the Prithvi Cement building because we are just near there. Working at Chandan Agrico means dealing with a lot of agricultural parts and equipment. It is heavy work and the shop floor is usually covered in a bit of grease or dust from the cement factory nearby. We keep the doors open mostly to let some air in because it gets hot in Shapar. It is not the kind of place where you wear nice clothes. We just focus on the inventory and getting things loaded onto the trucks. Most of the people around here are workers from the other units. We have been in this spot for a bit now, and we know the rhythms of the street. When the sirens go off for the lunch breaks, the whole road gets crowded for a bit. Then it goes back to the sound of machinery. It is a practical spot for what we do, right at the end of the industrial stretch.
