Gulmahor Flower

Gulmahor Flower is located on Gulmahor Flower Palace Road. It’s a small place, really more of a workshop than a fancy store. We spend our days surrounded by buckets of water and stems that need trimming. The air always smells like damp soil and whatever happens to be in season. It is not the kind of shop with perfect displays or air conditioning. It’s messy, and there’s often water on the floor, but that is just how it is when you work with plants. We get our shipments in the early hours before the sun is even up. Most of the time, it’s just us cutting flowers and tying them into simple bunches for people who walk in. The road outside is usually quiet enough, which we like. We’ve been here for several years now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the seasons. Some months are very busy, and we’re working late into the night, while other times we just sit on the bench outside and watch the cars go by. We don't use fancy wraps or expensive ribbons. We just give people what they ask for without much fuss. If you are looking for a place that feels like a real garden shed, that is us. We just keep our heads down, take care of the plants, and hope they stay fresh for as long as possible. It is what it is.
