Being at 50/b in the Gidc area of Udhyognagar, we are right in the heart of Rajkot’s industrial hub. V-trans (india) Ltd. handles a lot of movement, and you can feel it the moment you step into the Bhaktinagar zone. There’s always a truck backing in or a driver looking for paperwork. Our office is a bit of a whirlwind with people coming and going. The floor is concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they’ve seen a lot of history. Working in Rajkot means dealing with the heat and the constant hum of machinery from the neighboring units. We spend a lot of time on the phone, tracking where things are and making sure nothing gets stuck in transit. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s part of how the local economy works here in Gujarat. The Gidc estate has its own culture, where everyone is busy and there’s always a bit of chaos at the gate. We have a small desk for the manager and a few benches for the staff to rest on during breaks. Lunch is usually a quick affair brought from home. We don’t have fancy brochures or a high-tech lobby. It’s just a place where work happens, day in and day out, without any shortcuts or pretense. We don't worry about sounding important, we just focus on the logistics that need doing.
