We've been at G-1 here in Thane West for a while now. It’s a small place, honestly, but it gets the job done. If you know this part of Thane, you know how busy it gets around here. Most mornings start with just opening up the shutters and dusting off the racks. There’s usually a bit of a mess with fabric scraps on the floor by noon, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy with tailoring and showing people different patterns. We don’t have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a room with clothes and a few of us working. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, and we have to remind ourselves to get it fixed one of these days. People from the neighborhood drop in, some just to chat or ask about a repair on an old shirt. We keep the tea kettle going in the back because the afternoons can get long when it is quiet. It’s a lot of sitting and sewing or checking the fit of a dress someone left last week. We don’t really do much advertising, mostly just folks walking past and seeing what’s new in the window. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once, but we manage. Thane West has changed a lot, but this little corner stays pretty much the same. We just keep doing what we do every day. We don't have a website, just the shop.
