United Polyplast

We've been at Plot 10 for a good while now, right near Hi-Tech Ceramic. If you're coming down the Village Main Road, you'll find us on Maskat Polymers Street. It's a busy little corner of the world. United Polyplast is basically just us doing our thing with plastic every day. Some days the machines run smooth and other days we're fixing a belt or something, but that is just how it goes. The heat gets to you in the afternoon, so we usually take a break when it’s at its peak. We aren't trying to be some giant company that doesn't know its workers. Most of the guys here live nearby. We just focus on getting the orders out and making sure the quality is okay before things go on the truck. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and moving stuff around the survey 113 area. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. It's just a practical workspace where we get the job done. Maskat Polymers Street has several other businesses too, so there is always some noise or a truck blocking the way. We’ve learned to just work around it. That is basically the life here. We show up, do the work, and go home. It’s simple and it works for us.
