You’ll find Unique International at Shop No 1 in the New Complex at Sardar Chowk. We’re right in front of Vishwas Enterprise, so we’re pretty easy to spot if you’re in the area. The chowk is always bustling with activity, cars honking and people rushing about. Our shop is just a small unit in the complex. We’ve been here since the complex was relatively new. We deal with various items, mostly things we source and sell to the local community. It’s not a very big shop, so we have to make the most of the shelf space we have. We try to keep things neat, but when new shipments arrive, there are boxes everywhere for a day or two. We’re just a small team, usually just one or two of us here at a time. We don’t have any big corporate goals; we just want to provide what our customers are looking for and make a decent living. Some days are very busy, and we’re on our feet from morning till night. Other days are quieter, giving us a chance to catch up on paperwork or just sit and have a cup of tea. We’ve gotten to know many of the other shop owners in the complex, and it feels like a little community. We just take things one day at a time and try to be helpful to anyone who walks through our door.
