We set up our office in Flat-401 at Sanskar City. It’s right near the Ramdhan Mavdi bypass in Rajkot. Being so close to the bypass means we hear the trucks rolling by all day and night. It’s a good reminder of the business we are in, with all the moving parts of export and import. The office itself is basically a flat that we converted so it has a bit of a home feel to it, even with all the computers and filing cabinets everywhere. Rajkot weather can be tough, especially in the summer, so we keep the AC running when we can. We spend a lot of time on the phone trying to coordinate things. Sometimes it feels like we are just chasing after containers and drivers all day long. It's not always smooth, but we manage. There is usually a lot of paperwork on the desks by Wednesday, and we spend the rest of the week trying to clear it off. We don't have any big fancy signs or anything. People who need to find us know where we are. We usually have some snacks around the office because the days can get long. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just do the work, keep the records straight, and try to make sure everything gets to where it’s supposed to be on time.
