Crane Components India

The workshop here in Umakant Pandit Udhyognagar is always a bit noisy, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with heavy parts. We have been operating Crane Components India from this spot for quite some time now. You’ll usually find grease on the floor and tools scattered across the benches because we’re always in the middle of something. It isn’t the cleanest place in the world, but the machines are running and that’s what matters to us. My hands are usually dirty by nine in the morning. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist to greet you, you just walk in and find someone in the back. The air gets thick with the smell of metal and oil, especially when the sun is hitting the roof in the afternoon. We mostly talk to the same few delivery drivers every day. Sometimes we sit outside on the plastic chairs to have our lunch while the trucks go by. It’s a busy area and there’s always something moving around. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or stuff like that. We just focus on getting the pieces right so they fit like they’re supposed to. If a part isn't right, we fix it. That's the whole deal. It’s a simple way of working, but it keeps us going and the neighbors know us well enough by now. We just try to do the work that comes our way every day.
