Ekta Jewellers

You can find Ekta Jewellers over on Hatdi Street in Tankara. We are located at Matruchhaya 3, which is right by the old Arya Samaj Temple. That temple is a good landmark for people who aren't from around here. We’ve been running this jewelry shop for a while now. It’s a small place, nothing like the big stores you see in the cities. We mostly deal with local families who have been coming to us for years. The shop is simple, with just a few glass cases to show what we have. We spend a lot of our time chatting with neighbors who stop by, even if they aren't looking to buy anything that day. It's just that kind of neighborhood. The street can get a bit noisy during festival times because of the temple, but we don't mind it much. We try to keep things honest and straightforward here. There aren't any high-pressure sales tactics or anything like that. We just show people what we have and let them decide. Sometimes we do repairs on old pieces that have been in families for a long time. It’s slow work but it’s steady. We like being part of the community in Tankara. It’s a quiet life, mostly, just keeping the shop open and seeing familiar faces every day. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just a local jewelry shop for local folks. It’s how it’s always been for us.
