Our place, Shidimo Interaux Pvt. Ltd., is out on the Surat-Navsari Highway. We are located at S. No. 245/A 4, which is near the Laj Dairy in Lajpore. Being out here means we have a bit more space, but it’s a long drive for some of us. The highway is always loud with big trucks going towards Surat or down to Navsari. Our facility is a mix of an office and a storage area for the intermediates we handle. There are barrels and bags stacked in the back, and the front is just a simple office with some old chairs and a big table for meetings. We don't do much in the way of decoration. There are some technical charts on the walls and a lot of binders full of safety data. The smell around here is a bit different because of the dairy nearby, sometimes you get a whiff of that mixed with the industrial smells. We have a small yard where the trucks park to load up. The sun really hits the building in the afternoon, so we keep the blinds pulled down. It’s just a group of us who have been working together for a while. We know the routines and we don't need much supervision. It’s a practical location for moving goods along the highway, and that’s why we stay here. It’s not fancy, but it works for us. We just focus on keeping the orders moving and keeping the records straight.
