Super Forge

Super Forge is located out at the G.I.D.C. Lodhika industrial estate. We are on Plot No. 2756/57, right on Kranti Gate Road No.1 in the Metoda area. It is a bit of a long address for such a simple shop. This industrial estate is really huge and it is very easy to get lost if you do not know which gate you are looking for. Our place is pretty much like all the others around here. We have the heavy forging equipment that makes a lot of noise throughout the day. You can usually hear the thumping of the hammers from all the way down the street. The air inside always smells a bit like burnt oil and hot iron, which is just part of the job. We keep the big doors open so the delivery trucks can back in without too much trouble. The plot has just enough room for our metal supplies, but it gets a bit crowded when a new shipment arrives. We do not have a polished office with nice furniture. There is just a small corner with a wooden table where we keep all the paperwork and the daily logbooks. Most of our time is spent out on the shop floor where the actual work happens. Metoda is quite a distance from the main city, so it is a long drive for us every morning. We bring our lunches and eat together when the machines are shut off for a break. It is tough work and the vibrations from the hammers stay with you. We just keep the hammers moving and get the orders out.
