Super Casting

Down in Umakant Pandiy Udyog Nagar, behind the Tank Foundry, you’ll find us at Super Casting. It’s a busy little corner of the world. We’ve been casting metal here for quite some time now. The air usually smells like heat and sand, which is just part of the job. It’s a dusty place, but that’s what happens when you’re working with molds all day. We have a small crew. Most of the guys have been doing this since they were young. We aren't big on formalities. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our work clothes, covered in a bit of soot and sweat. We just focus on getting the pours right. The building itself has seen better days, with some peeling paint and old doors, but it holds everything we need to get the work done. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations or expensive office chairs. Every bit of profit usually goes back into the furnaces or buying better sand for the molds. We don't have a big website or a social media person. We just talk to the people who walk through the gate. It’s simple, really. Some days the humidity makes the work a bit harder, but we get through it. We just take it one batch at a time and try to stay out of the way of the bigger shops. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. We don't need any praise, just a steady stream of jobs to keep the lights on.
