We spend most of our days out here at Survey No.155 on S.I.D.C. Road. If you know the Veraval Shaper area, you know it gets quite busy with all the trucks moving along the Gondal National Highway 8-B. Sumangal Forgings Pvt. Ltd. has been sitting in this spot for a good while now. It is a noisy place, mostly because of the hammers and the heat from the furnaces, but that is just how the work goes. Our shop is right in the middle of Kotda Sangani taluka. People around here usually recognize the building when they pass by on the highway. We are not a fancy corporate office with glass walls and carpets. It is dusty and loud, and we usually have grease on our clothes by noon. The guys on the floor have been doing this for years, and they know the metal better than anyone. We just focus on getting the parts right and making sure the machines keep running. Some days the heat is a bit much, especially in the summer months, but we take our breaks and get back to it. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. You won’t find anything shiny here, just a lot of steel and hard work happening every single day since we opened our doors in this part of Gujarat. It’s what we do.
