Star Communication

You can find Star Communication in Village Raiya, which is part of the Dist-Rajkot area. We are located right opposite the Radhe Krishna Temple. It’s a very peaceful spot to have a shop, though it gets quite busy during festivals and prayer times when everyone comes out. I’ve been running this place for a while, focusing on communication needs for the local people. Whether it’s fixing a cracked phone screen, selling a sim card, or helping someone with their mobile data settings, we stay pretty busy. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit a lot of equipment and accessories inside the glass cases. I spend a lot of my time looking through a magnifying glass at small circuit boards or explaining how a new phone works to an older neighbor who isn't used to touchscreens. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of technical tinkering. I like being right across from the temple because it makes us easy to find for people coming from other parts of Rajkot. We don't use any corporate scripts here. If something can be fixed, I’ll tell you straight, and if it’s junk, I’ll tell you that too so you don't waste money. The floor is often covered in little scraps of wire or packaging, but that's just because we are always working on something. It’s a good life here in Raiya. We just want to make sure everyone stays connected without having to drive into the main city for every little thing. We are here every day.
