Spunline Nonwoven Private Limited is located out in the village of Govindpar in the Paddhari taluka of Rajkot. We operate from the premises of Devkaran Karamshi Kagathara. It is a different feel out here compared to the big city factories. The air is a bit clearer, but the work is still heavy. We focus on nonwoven materials, which is a bit different from the usual cotton stuff you see. Our building is simple and serves the purpose of manufacturing and storage. Most of our staff comes from the nearby villages, so everyone knows each other by name. We start the machines early in the morning before the sun gets too high. There is a lot of space around the unit, which is good for the big trucks that come to pick up the rolls. We don’t have any fancy marketing people or polished receptionists. You just walk in and find us working on the floor or sitting at the main desk. Sometimes the cows from the nearby farms wander near the gate, which is just part of village life. We handle the production and the billing ourselves without much fuss. It is a quiet place to work most of the time, except for the hum of the nonwoven lines. We just aim to finish the day’s quota and keep the machines in good shape. It is a simple life and we like it.
