Paras Diesel Spares

We've been here at Street No 2 in Sorathiyawadi for a long time now. If you know Rajkot, you know how busy it gets around the Sorathiyawadi Circle. Our shop, Paras Diesel Spares, is right across from Vaibhav Glass. It's not a fancy place, just a workspace filled with shelves and boxes of diesel engine parts. Most days, it's just us identifying specific spares for people who come in from all over. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty because of the traffic outside, but that is just how things go around here. People come to us when their engines stop working or they need a specific bolt or gasket that they can't find elsewhere. We spend a lot of time looking through catalogs or just knowing where things are by memory because we have so many different items in stock. It can be noisy with the trucks and cars passing by the circle constantly. We don't really do much advertising. Most folks just know where we are because we’ve sat in this same spot for years. If you are driving down the main road, you just look for the glass shop and we are right there on the other side. There is always tea being passed around and someone usually has a story to tell while they wait for their parts to be packed up. It is honest work, keeping these old engines running. We just keep track of the inventory and try to help whoever walks through the door.
