Our spot is up on the 9th floor of Aalap-A, right there at Limda Chowk in Rajkot. Skyhigh Adventure Club has been operating out of this building for a bit now. Being on the 9th floor gives us a decent view of the city, though we usually have the blinds down because the Gujarat sun is so bright. The office is often cluttered with maps, some old ropes, and lists of names for the next trip. We are a small group of people who like being outside more than being in an office, so it feels a bit strange sometimes sitting behind desks. Limda Chowk is a very busy intersection, so there's always the sound of horns drifting up even this high. We don't have a reception desk or a professional lobby. You just walk in and someone will be there at a computer or on the phone. We spend a lot of time talking about gear and checking the weather in different places. It’s not a polished environment. We have stacks of flyers and some dusty equipment sitting in the corners. People stop by to ask about treks or just to say hello. We don't do much fancy advertising. Most of what we do is just planning out routes and making sure the logistics work. It’s a bit chaotic, but it works for us and keeps us moving throughout the year.
