Our place, Simba Impex Pvt. Ltd., is right near the Bhaktinagar Station Plot in Rajkot. We are located across from Gokul Industries, just by the Ambika Way-bridge. It’s a very practical location for us because of all the transport moving through. The area is always buzzing with the sound of heavy vehicles. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite some time now. Our office is a simple room with some chairs and a lot of ledgers. We spend our days coordinating between different suppliers and making sure the shipping documents are in order. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is what we do. The way-bridge nearby is a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. Rajkot is a busy city for trade and we are just a small part of that big machine. We don’t use any fancy talk here. We just deal with people directly and try to make sure everything is handled properly. Sometimes things get delayed at the port or on the road, and we have to spend hours on the phone fixing it. That’s just part of the routine. We are a small team and we’ve worked together for years. We know the local market and we know how to get things done without making a big fuss about it. We usually keep some tea ready for anyone who comes to visit. It’s better to talk things through in person than over an email anyway. Most of the folks around here have been doing this as long as we have.
