Our company, Silverace Extrusion Pvt. Ltd., is based out of Plot No. G-1152 in the Lodhika GIDC area. If you know the Metoda district in Rajkot, you know it’s a huge place for manufacturing. Our plot is tucked away among hundreds of others, and it stays quite active from morning until late evening. Extrusion work means we deal with a lot of heat and heavy equipment. The shop floor is usually where you will find most of our staff. It gets pretty noisy when everything is running at full capacity, so you have to talk loud to be heard. We’ve been at this Metoda location for some time now, and we’ve seen the area grow a lot. The roads can be a bit bumpy around the GIDC, especially during the rainy season when the water pools up near the gates. Inside the building, we keep things simple and functional. There aren’t many frills here, just the machines and the benches where the work happens. Our team mostly consists of local guys from the Rajkot area who know the trade well. We spend our days watching the gauges and making sure the metal or whatever we are running comes out the way it’s supposed to. It is steady work, and we just keep at it day in and day out without much fuss. The Dist. Rajkot sun is hot on the roof, but we’re used to it.
