Silver Ceramic

We are over on Old Ghuntu Road. It’s one of those roads that has seen a lot of changes over the years, but it still feels the same in a lot of ways. This area is pretty well known for ceramics, so we are surrounded by people doing similar things. Our place is just a regular building where we store our stock and handle the daily chores. It’s often quite hot in the warehouse, especially during the middle of the day. We don’t have much in the way of air conditioning, so we rely on the fans. The road outside can be a bit rough, especially after the rain when the puddles get deep. We’ve got a lot of ceramic pieces sitting around in crates, and we have to be careful when moving them so nothing breaks. It’s a lot of manual labor, really. We don’t have a big corporate office or a marketing team. It’s just us, the inventory, and the customers who know where to find us. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when things are slow. The neighborhood is full of small businesses like ours, and everyone kind of looks out for each other. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t really notice the dust or the noise anymore. It’s just home for the business and where we spend most of our waking hours. We just try to get things done without making too much of a fuss.
