Shriji Hemal Designer Tiles

We are over at Lati Plot, specifically at number 7. This area is mostly industrial, so our neighbors are all doing similar kinds of work. Our space is filled with tiles of all different shapes and sizes. Sometimes it’s a bit of a mess because we have so many samples coming in and out, but we eventually find what we are looking for. The office part is just a small corner where we keep the ledger and a couple of chairs for when someone drops by to look at designs. It gets quite warm in the afternoons because the roof is mostly tin, but we have a few fans going to keep the air moving. We aren't really the type to have a fancy showroom with bright lights and music. It’s more of a warehouse feel where the tiles are the main thing you see. We spend a lot of time moving crates around and checking the edges of the tiles to make sure nothing got cracked during transport. It is a lot of heavy lifting and staying on your feet. Lati Plot is a busy place, and there’s always someone loading a vehicle nearby. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready for the local builders who come to us. It’s a basic, honest way to earn a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for years.
