Shriji Boys Hostel & Dinning Hall

Shriji Boys Hostel & Dinning Hall is tucked away in Rajnagar Chowk at the corner of Sastrinagar. The building is called Jay Ambe, and we are right near the Mamta petrol pump in Chandreshnagar, Rajkot. It’s a busy corner with people always coming and going for fuel or just passing through. We have a lot of young guys living here, mostly students or fellows who have moved to the city for their first jobs. The hostel stays pretty lively, as you can imagine with a bunch of boys under one roof. The dining hall is the main part where everyone gathers. It isn't a five-star setup, just rows of tables and benches where we serve daily meals. The kitchen is always running, smells of spices and lentils wafting through the halls from early morning until late evening. Keeping a hostel clean is a constant job, especially the common areas and the dining space. We deal with all sorts of small issues like fused bulbs or a tap that won't stop dripping. It’s more like a big, messy family home than a business. The boys complain about the food sometimes, then ask for seconds the next day. We’ve been in this part of Rajkot for years, and the neighbors are used to the noise of the hostel. It’s just a practical place for guys to stay while they are doing their studies or working nearby.
