We’ve been here in Shapar for a good while now. Our place is right across from Field Marshal School on the highway. Most days it’s just the sound of metal moving and the guys getting things sorted for the next shipment. Shapar Industrial Zone is a busy spot, always trucks coming in and out, and the dust gets everywhere. We started with just a couple of machines and a lot of manual work. It hasn’t always been easy, especially during the summer when it gets so hot you can barely touch the steel. We handle conveyors, mostly. People come by looking for parts or asking if we can fix something they bought years ago. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the floor gets cluttered when a big order is going out. Our office is small, just enough for some chairs and the paperwork. We drink a lot of tea while talking about the schedules. It’s a simple setup. Nothing fancy like you see in the big cities. Just some local guys doing what they know how to do. The address is on N. H. 27, easy to find if you’re driving past Shapar(veraval). We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. New buildings coming up and the road getting wider. We just keep our heads down and work. That’s how it is at Galaxy Conveyors. It is what it is, just a practical shop in the heart of Rajkot.
