We operate out of 46 E in the Bhaktinagar Industrial Estate in Rajkot. Being in a place like this means you are surrounded by other workshops and factories all day long. Shaktiwan Manufacturers has been part of this landscape for quite some time. The area is always buzzing with activity, from the sounds of metal being worked to the trucks squeezing through the narrow lanes. Our workshop isn't very large, but we make good use of every square inch of space we have. The walls are a bit stained from the oil and the dust, which just shows how much work goes on inside. We have a small group of workers who are skilled at what they do. They don't need much supervision because they've been doing this for years. We don't really do any formal meetings or have a corporate culture. We just talk over the noise of the machines if something needs to be changed. Sometimes the orders are backed up, and we have to stay a bit late to finish things off. We don't use much fancy technology for the office side of things; most stuff is still written down in books.
