Saurashtra Medical & Educational Charitable Trust

The Saurashtra Medical & Educational Charitable Trust is located in the Life building on the Racecourse Ring Road. This is a well-known area and the ring road is always circling with traffic. We aren't a business that is out to make a profit. Instead, we are a trust that spends time working on various medical and educational projects for the community. The office is usually quite busy with people coming in to talk about different programs or seeking help with school fees or hospital bills. We have a small team here at the Life building who manage the paperwork and the funds that come through. It's a lot of talking to people and listening to their stories to see how the trust can be of use. The Racecourse area is a nice part of town, and having the office here makes it accessible for a lot of people who need to reach us. We don't have fancy furniture or high-tech gadgets; it’s mostly just old desks and lots of folders filled with applications and records. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks through the door. Some days are quiet and we just catch up on the filing, while other days there is a line of people waiting. We just try to get through the work as honestly as we can. It’s a steady job that keeps us connected to what is happening in the city.
