Satnam Cera Decorators is located right on the 8-A National Highway in the Lalpar area. Being on the highway means we get a lot of dust from the passing trucks, so we are constantly cleaning the surfaces. We handle ceramic items and various decorations for homes and buildings. The space is mostly a large showroom and a storage area in the back. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here from the main city, but the highway access makes it easier for the delivery trucks to pull in and out. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside. We usually have a fan going at full speed. There’s no corporate dress code here; we just wear what’s comfortable for moving heavy boxes around. We spend a lot of time unpacking crates and making sure nothing got cracked during transit. Lalpar is a growing area, so there’s always some construction happening nearby. Our neighbors are mostly other industrial shops and warehouses. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we like the pace. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just focus on the ceramics and making sure the inventory matches the books. It’s a basic, honest way to spend the day, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the highway traffic.
