We have been here in Wankaner for a while now. Tucked away behind the Makansar Panjarapol area, the factory stays busy most days. We make different ceramic items like toilets and washbasins. It gets dusty in the workshop, but that is how it goes when you work with clay and heat. Usually, the team shows up early to get the kilns ready. This isn’t a fancy place. Our focus is just on getting the shapes right and making sure the glaze looks okay before anything goes out. Most of the guys here live nearby. Because of the road conditions near Sartanpar, the trucks sometimes arrive late, but we handle it. Locally, people know us as Coto Bathware. We started small and just kept adding a few more designs every year. You can find us at the 8 A N H address. It’s a busy spot with all the other ceramic plants around, but our way of doing things is our own. Not much is spent on ads. Most of our work comes from people who have bought from us before or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s just honest work in the heat. Even when there are too many crates piled up in the yard, we keep the floor moving and try to stay organized. Both old and new machines are used depending on what we are making that day. Since the weather affects how the clay dries, we have to watch that closely. It is frustrating sometimes, but that’s the trade. You won't see much office decor if you come by. Most of our time is spent out where the making happens.
