Sardhara Engine Manufacturers is located at 5/11 in the Aji Industrial Area, right near the Ring Circle in Rajkot. If you come by, you’ll probably see us with grease on our shirts and dirt under our fingernails. That is just the nature of working with engines all day. The workshop is a noisy place, filled with the sounds of grinding and testing. We have been in the Aji area for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change, but our work remains the same. We take heavy metal parts and turn them into engines that actually run. It takes a lot of patience and a bit of muscle. The floors are stained with oil, no matter how much we scrub them, but it’s a sign of a workplace that actually does something. We don't have a quiet office for meetings. Usually, if we need to talk, we just stand around one of the workbenches and shout over the noise. It is a very direct way of doing things. The Gujarat sun can be pretty unforgiving in the afternoon, so we keep the big shutters open to catch any breeze we can. We are just local people making a living by building machines that work. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just build engines, check them twice, and move on to the next one on the list. It is honest work in a tough environment.
