Sanjivani Clinic

We have been here at Sanjivani Clinic on Gundala Road for quite some time now. It is just a regular place where people come in when they aren't feeling too good. The street outside, Gundala Road, can get pretty noisy during the afternoons when the schools let out. Most days, I get here around nine and start by wiping down the front desk. It is not a fancy setup, just some chairs for people to sit and wait their turn. Sometimes the fan makes a little clicking sound, but nobody really minds. We see the same faces from the neighborhood quite often. The sun hits the front window in a certain way around three o'clock, making it a bit warm inside. I usually keep a bottle of water tucked under the counter. There is a tea stall just a few doors down from us on Gundala Road that makes decent chai. We usually take a break when things get quiet. It is just the way things go here. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us managing the files and helping the doctor. The floor is a bit worn in the spots where people walk the most, but it shows how many folks have come through these doors. It is a simple life here at the clinic. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the corner of the desk. That is just how it is.
